Explanation – The Rafah border crossing is located between Egypt and the Gaza Strip in the Palestinian territories. It is situated in the northeastern part of the Sinai Peninsula, close to the city of Al Arish in Egypt. Al Arish is the capital of the North Sinai Governorate and is located about 40 kilometers west of the Rafah border crossing.
