Explanation – The Pamban Channel is located between peninsular India and Pamban Island (Rameswaram Island), which forms part of the chain of landmasses separating India from Sri Lanka. It connects the Gulf of Mannar to the Palk Strait and is part of the geographical region that includes Adam’s Bridge (Rama Setu) and Mannar Island in Sri Lanka.
