Explanation: Tamil Nadu

• Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary is located in the Madurantakam taluk of the Chengalpattu district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the oldest bird sanctuaries in India and was established to protect migratory water birds visiting the freshwater lake ecosystem there.
