Explanation – Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome (MRKH), often referred to as MRKH syndrome, is a congenital disorder that affects the female reproductive system. It is characterized by the underdevelopment or absence of the uterus and the upper part of the vagina in women.

Recently, the Supreme Court has allowed a woman with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser (MRKH) Syndrome to undergo surrogacy using a donor egg.
