Statement 1 is incorrect: The Tai-Khampti is one of the major tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. The Tai-Khampti inhabits the district of Namsai.

Statement 2 is correct: It is the only tribe in the state to be known to have their own script which the people call it Tai script (Lik-Tai). Even the Ramayana and Mahabharata are written in the Khamti script.

Statement 3 is incorrect: The Khamti tribe’s resistance against the British forces in 1839 is recognized as one of the boldest attempts made in the Eastern frontier of the Indian subcontinent.
