Questions
1.) Monuments and antiquities are part of our heritage and culture, they should be protected adequately. Comment and also suggest some measures to strengthen the present design to preserve our Monuments and antiquities.
2.) Solar power is a major prong of India’s commitment to addressing global warming. In the light of the statement, highlight the challenges faced by India in achieving its targets with regard to solar energy.
Nice Answer, to the point arguments as required by the question.
Some improvements:
1. You could have mentioned two components of the Solar Mission (Utility Scale and Roof-top) and it is the latter which is lagging behind in the target. Also mention current installed capacity in the Solar Sector.
2. Way forward could have been little better. You could have mentioned India’s Climate Targets and importance of Solar Energy in this regard. While the target is likely to be missed, but given the pace of pick-up in roof-top sector, India’s capacity will increase considerably.
