Questions
1) Commercial cultivation of flowers and ornamental plants, or floriculture is much more lucrative compared to normal crop farming. Highlight the factors contributing to the growth of floriculture in India.
2) The pharmaceutical industry’s self-regulation is a deceptive blocking strategy rather than a means for the industry to police itself. Comment

Great answer! One thing in my opinion that can be changed is the latter part of the answer. It seems more appropriate for Geography optional. The points mentioned under lucrative agriculture are the contributing factor in growth of floriculture as well. Points related to climate, species, soil diversity etc. can be clubbed as single point ‘Geographical factors’. (I guess this would be a 10 mark question).
You could have also added point of rising demand in urban centres as factor for growth. Map is very appropriate (more so for Optional).
Great answer overall!
Thank you very much. Thanks for pointing out the weightage of geography optional based points in my answer. That is another problem when it comes to answer writing.
Thank you for your suggestions that helps out a lot.
Good attempt! Some point are very relevant like diversity in geographical factors. Other points like tourism, demand of jobs can be avoided.
Add more relevant points like lucrative activity so many farmers are adopting, there is rising demand (urbanization/consumer culture etc.), export markets etc.
Thanks 😊
Looks nice! I think the point related to market and demand can be clubbed together, they are almost same, just mention that there is domestic and export demand for flowers.
Rest looks good!
Thank you
