Questions
Highlight the reasons behind increasing cases of suicides among students preparing for competitive examinations. What measures can be taken to stop this menace?
Do you think that the RTI Act is fulfilling its intended purpose?

Answer is good, but there is scope of some improvement.
Introduction can be made more relevant and pointed (NAC is not relevant here).
Question is about intended purpose, so highlight some success stories.
There are some major issues in implementation/functioning of the Act, you have mentioned some concerns, many other can be added e.g., vacancies in CIC/SICs, threats to RTI Activists, denial of information citing various reasons.
You can refer this article.
ok maam/sir,
i will improve it..
Actually was also thinking that i forgot to add success points..
Thanku for review..
Wrote it as a 15 marks answer.
Good answer, proper approach first mentioning benefits and then listing the concerns. In benefits, try to list some case studies/real life incidents where RTI Act has proven to be beneficial. Relevant concerns have been included. You can also mention threat to lives of activists, denial of info due to lack of proper record-keeping etc.. Refer this article.
Overall nice!
Thank you, I will keep that in mind.
Great answer! More examples like Jan Soochna Portal can be added. In concerns, add vacancies in CIC/SICs, pendency of cases, threat to lives of activists. Way forward seems apt. Good job!
I think the argument of issues with the present education system can also be added, like too much dependence on competitive examinations, lack of quality institutions (so pressure to get admission in top instis etc.)
In solutions, you can add focus on mental healthcare. Also in introduction, you can quote suicide rate in adolescents, or you can mention this age group being most vulnerable (if unable to remember the data).
Please post answers separately.
A1. Good answer! Introduction is good and to the point. Please cross-verify the success rate of JEE exam, not sure about the figure. It is good to mention measures already taken (You can show them as a schematic/diagram). Describe measures that need to be taken e.g., mental helpline for students, social change to reduce stigma associated with failure, reducing peer and parental pressure etc. Other aspects are good, point-wise approach is apt, handwriting is nice and legible.
A2 is excellent, while concluding, You can provide some suggestions like default disclosure approach (i.e., non-disclosure only in certain cases like national security, law and order), proper and standardized record-keeping etc.
Keep a check on word-limit, answer seems long, try to use smaller sentences.
Overall good quality answer!
