Questions
At the heart of the Belagavi dispute is monolingualism that seeks to refute the existence of multilingual cultures and communities. Critically Analyze the statement.
Highlight the significance of recently concluded Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF).

Good answer! You can add brief description of the importance of biodiversity and the threats its faces. The concluding part seems to deviate a bit, focus more on the implementation aspect to achieve the target.
Great answer! Some tweaks can be made in concluding part. Mention that focus has to be on implementation as none of the Aichi Targets have been achieved so far. GBF shouldn’t end up like that.
Also please confirm if CBDR is part of this convention (CBD). CBDR is not India’s principle but formally acknowledged in the UNFCCC, so You can rephrase this sentence (like India advocates/supports CBDR).
Please post answers to two questions as separate comments.
A1. Answer is good. You can provide a brief description of the threats faced by biodiversity and the significance of the GBF in that context. Some of the sentences can be shortened, will help You save time and add more content. In conclusion, good that You mentioned Aichi Targets, add that focus has to be on implementation.
Wrote it as a 15 marks answer.
Great answer! Comprehensive content, good approach in articulating arguments given by both states. The diagram for multilingualism is cluttered, please break it down to make it legible. This feedback has been given earlier as well, please work on it.
In conclusion, you can mention that efforts to settle dispute (like Justice Mahajan Report) should be respected and accepted, politics should be avoided.
Thankyou, I will keep that in mind.
Great answer! Very well covered, I think You can elaborate the politics behind the ‘monolingualism’ a bit more, mention political mobilisation for electoral benefits etc. Rejection of Mahajan report is also a result of this. Overall really nice!
Good answer! Nice coverage of points, also briefly cover the threats faced by biodiversity and how GBF can be significant. Also conclude by saying that focus has to be on implementation and achieving targets, Aichi targets have been missed.
