1) Microbial activities are foundational for the functioning of our planet and also can help us adapt to climate change. Elaborate.

2) Decriminalising marijuana in India fully makes legal sense, as well as an economic one. Do you agree? Provide reasons for your arguments.
Some good features of your answer:
1. You began with definition.
2. You wrote point-wise benefits of microbes.
There are multiple aspects where you can improve:
1. The definition is a bit complex (like no need to include anabolic/catabolic unless specifically asked). You need not quote verbatim from a source, but modify it in your own words to simplify. This also indicates that you understood the concept.
2. The aspect of the question related to adaptation to climate change has not been addressed.
3. You can divide your answer into sub-parts with clear titles (a) Microbes in functioning of planet; (b) Microbes utility in adaptation to Climate Change; (c) Conclusion.
4. You can mention sub-titles in each point e.g., Biogeochemical cycles, benefits to humans etc.
5. Work on Your hand-writing a bit. It is readable, but it can be improved.

After writing the answer i realized that i have not addressed thew climate change aspect of it. Writing my first answer here! soon gonna join MGP. Thanks for reviewing and valuable comments. – from the dark side of the moon!

Some more points could have been mentioned regarding role in biogeochemical cycles, rainfall, marine ecosystem, or for human benefits (like digestive system and products for human consumption) etc.
Also do address the aspect of adaptation to climate change.
