Questions
Is uniformity through Uniform Civil Code (UCC) desirable for a nation that is as diverse as India? Provide justifications for your argument.
Do you think government regulations can be helpful in achieving the full potential of UPI in India?

Please indicates marks also.
Good answer! Overall approach is balanced, which is the requirement. However, arguments/content can be improved a little.
– Provide a basic definition of UCC.
– In pros, also mention that many religious laws are discriminatory against women, UCC can help bring reform and ensure gender justice, help eliminate undesirable practices like child marriage.
– In cons, mention it can interfere in cultural practices (e.g., marriage between cousins, which is prevalent in many communities in Southern India).
– In suggestion, mention that the pragmatic approach would be to ensure gender equity (which need not mean uniformity).

Thank you,i will remember these points
Good attempt. You need to highlight the issues with UPI. UPI is free of charge at present, thus it is not viable in the long term. Lack of incentive is limiting entry of new UPI Service Providers and introduction of new innovative features, thus limiting potential of UPI. However, if UPI is made chargeable, it will impact financial inclusion. Hence Government intervention is needed to make UPI viable. Your answer should be based on these dimensions.
I have written it as a 15 marks (250 words) answer.
Some of the points are good and relevant. Little improvement is possible in some other aspects.
– In the definition, mention specific area of UCC (Marriage, Divorce, Inheritance, Adoption etc.)
– Some points are generic and not very relevant e.g., increase in representation (how?)
– Highlight the issue of gender justice (You can cite some discriminatory provisions like inheritance, support after divorce, child marriage etc.)
– In issues, highlight that UCC may interfere with cultural practices (which may not be discriminatory), so any code must carefully consider this aspect.
– Conclude by saying, that ideal approach would be to ensure gender justice and equity rather than uniformity. Quote observations/suggestions of Law Commission as well.
Thank you, I will keep that in mind.
Perfect answer! Nothing to suggest it seems. In the introduction, You have written personal matter, do mention them like marriage, divorce etc. Awesome overall!
