Questions
1) Why are Department Related Parliamentary Standing Committees (DRSC) not being utilized as per their stated objectives? Suggest some measures to increase their efficacy and their relevance.
2) What is the Eastern Economic Forum? Highlight the Significance of the Eastern Economic Forum for India.

Nice! Proper introduction, aspects related to resource access, Indo-Pacific, employment opportunities have been mentioned.
One thing, I feel You are not emphasising important points e.g,, countering China can be an independent point in itself, You have mentioned it in-passing in one of the other points rather than putting it as a separate highlighted point.
Also include keywords like India’s new multi-alignment policy and securing national interests. Work a bit on this aspect, Good answer otherwise!

Ok will work on it.
Please review and let me know my mistakes

very nice answer.
Excellent answer! Another point related to delay in submission of reports can be cited. (The Author has suggested fixed timeline for submitting reports).
Please cross-check the point related to attendance. Is it attendance in the Committee meetings or Parliament session meetings? The argument related to voting in the House may not seem relevant here, You have already mentioned whip in Committee (very nice).
Overall good stuff as always!
okay noted! i will check it. Thank you for the suggestion.

Good answer! The question is about non-utilization, so You should focus more on that aspect. Highlight points related to reluctance of Government to refer Bill to Committees, as also the time taken by Committees.
Introduction can be cut down a little.
Attendance in House Sessions or Committee meetings? The two are different aspects I feel.
Suggestions are very good, relevant and apt.
Overall good, with margin for improvement in the first half of the answer!
Thanku will note it down.

Good answer! You can add some keywords in the answer like strategic concerns in the Indo-Pacific, India’s multi-alignment policy, countering China in the region etc. Consider providing sub-headings in each point e.g., employment opportunities, energy security etc. It will help fetch good marks and highlight your conceptual clarity. Otherwise the content is good!

Excellent Answer! You have put the arguments in a very cogently, with proper titles. Only point to be added is employment opportunities for Indian professional. Also use Indo-Pacific, it is in vogue now in strategic domains, usage of Asia-pacific is getting limited.
Very good quality answer!
Point noted. Thank you

Looks great! In the beginning of the section ‘issues’ also mention reluctance of Presiding Officers to refer it to the Committee, probably to get hasten the process. In suggestion, you can add the argument that rules of LS/RS can be amended that every Bill must be referred to the Committee by default, only in exceptional circumstances, the Presiding Officer can decide not to.
Thank you, I will try to improve.
Great answer! Some suggestions
– I think the point related to adjournment of Parliament may not be applicable as the sitting of the Committee is independent of the sitting of the House. Let me check though.
– The point of reluctance of Government/Presiding officer as they want to quickly pass the legislation, Committees usually take time to submit their reports.
– The point related to suo motu can be rephrased, the rules can be amended to refer each Bill to the committee should be default, Presiding Officer should only decide exceptions in case of emergency/special circumstances.
Other points are good and relevant. Nice overall!
