There are two tragedies in Civil Services Preparation that completely delegitimize our preparation.
One is not clearing the PT.
The other is not clearing the PT.
Not clearing the Personality Test (PT) has almost the same psychological impact on our psyche that not clearing the Preliminary Test (PT) has.
Our complete preparation is delegitimised – even if we have worked hard. Our confidence takes a hit, we feel there is something fundamentally wrong with us – and even question if we are made for it.
This Thursday, at 11AM, we meet in New Delhi in Karol Bagh to accept and acknowledge our failure – as difficult as it may be – particularly because of the Commission’s track record of discretion in deciding the key for Prelims examination – at least for 2024 and now again for 2025 prelims attempt.
Sometimes, life screws us even if it’s not our mistake.
But that’s not all.
We’ll also aim to find objectivity in chaos.

For we have had a few hundred people from such meets, shine in the coming year – which is why we still do it – even though everything that needs to be said has been said before.
Remember, the tree of our success is contained in the seeds of our failure. It is just that, at that time, we do not know.
