[register] SFG vs SFG [Residential] + Why SFG Residential?

SFG FRC 2026

Friends

On Monday, at 08:30PM in the online mode, we shall be meeting to have an open webinar on the Residential Version of SFG [ Select Focus Group]. We started the SFG – Residential in December 2023, where 100 odd people joined us for their prelims preparation. The criteria was simple – failed in prelims twice, not from an IIT and have two attempts left.

With more than 40+ people from the residential group writing Mains that year ( and 9+ ) in the final list from FRC till date, we owe it to the world to tell you more about it.

If you, or someone you know has had trouble clearing prelims ( twice or more ), has been otherwise a good student in school or college – or at least studied once in life, you can safely share this with them.

In the session, we shall discuss

  • Why does a residential program for Civil Services even exist?
  • Why do people fail prelims annually ( and then suddenly clear prelims IFoS cut off ) ?
  • Why do we even have an entrance criteria for it?
  • Choosing between SFG and SFG ( Residential ) – Which one to choose?

We will also take up any queries you may have and also dispel internet rumours about the same.

You can attend the session in the online mode on Sunday, Monday 10th November at 8:30 PM.

P.S. It has been rescheduled from Sunday, 8:30 to Monday 10th November at 8:30 PM, due to unavoidable circumstances.

You can register below ( Open webinar on SFG Residential Batch/ FRC 2026 ) and also send us your query.
