News: Russia will launch first Arktika-M satellite in 2020

Facts:

Arktika-M satellite is a remote-sensing and emergency communications satellite
Aim: To monitor the meteorological conditions in the Arctic region.
Significance: It will allow for improved weather forecasts and enable scientists to study climate change better.
