Taliban forms 14-member team for peace talks
- The Taliban has named a 14-member team of negotiators for the second round of talks with the United States to be held in late February 2019 at Doha, Qatar. The first round of talks was also held in Doha.
- The aim of the talks is to end the Afghanistan War. The war in Afghanistan began in 2001 when British and American armed forces attacked the country to remove Taliban from power and put an end to Afghan civil war.
