Tapasya Campus is in Naugaon tehsil of Alwar district in Rajasthan. It is located very close to Haryana and Rajasthan border along Delhi – Alwar/Sohna – Alwar Road. It is easily accessible via road, rail and air.
Road: The campus is well connected by road from both Delhi and Jaipur. It lies on main Delhi – Alwar / Sohna – Alwar Road. It is a 35 mins drive after taking exit HR – 05 (Firozpur Jhirka) from Mumbai express way while coming from Delhi and HR – 01 exit when coming from Jaipur.
The buses ply daily in a good frequency from Dhaula Kuan (Delhi), IFFCO Chowk (Gurgaon) and Rajiv Chowk (Gurgaon) and they halt near the campus. The drive from Dhaula Kuan to campus in just a little over 2 hours. Similarly, the drive from Jaipur is just a little under 2.5 hours.
Rail: The nearest railway station to campus is Ramgarh (7.6 km) and Alwar (31 km). The travel time from Ramgarh railway station is hardly 10 mins. The trave time from Alwar station to campus is just under 45 mins. Daily trains ply to Alwar Station from Delhi (Sarai Rohilla), Gurgaon and Jaipur at a good frequency.
Air: The nearest airport to the campus is Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi which is 124 Km away from the campus. It will take a little under 2 hours from IGI Airport to campus via Mumbai expressway.
The students travelling from rail and arriving at Alwar or Ramgarh station will be provided for a travel helpdesk number which will help them commute to the campus hassle free. The travel helpdesk will be arranged by ForumIAS but the cost of commute has to be borne by the student.
The campus will be open for site visit from 8th January onwards.
