Aadhar is a unique 12 digit number being provided to every citizen of india capturing his/ her biometrics like fingerprint and iris scan.
It provides easy identification and better targeting of individuals in respect to various govt programmes however there are few security concerns also such as:-
1. Data breach:- Aadhar data used by various agencies can be stolen/ misused by scruplous social elements
2.Intereference in privacy:-it can lead to peeking into privacy domain of the individuals.
3.coercive actions:- state can implement its coercive/authoritarian orders on its subjects.
Despite these security concerns there are various ways which ensure privacy of an individual such as
1. Aadhar act- The whole aadhar scheme was provided statutory status by enacting aadhar act which provides guidelines for security concern and penal provision for its breach.
2. Institutional mechanism- UIDAI is the nodal institution for Aadhar related issues.
3. Cabinet minister rank to UIDAI Chairmain- It ensures the importance of aadhar for the govt and PM can directly keep an eye over its functioning.
4.consent of the beneficiary- is mandatory for using aadhar and that too upto the level for which consent given by him.
There are enough provision to ensure privacy of the individual but still there were few data breach events had eroded the individual confidence so it becomes imperative for govt to strictly implement the penal provisions of aadhar act so that the lost confidence can be regained.

Recent issue- exception 2 to sec 375( rape) of IPC seen as violation of right to life, liberty, equality and discriminatory.
court observed that if quashed, there is another flip side.
Elimination of child marraige requires truly multi sectoral policies that go beyond education. Though not immediately, there’s still a long way in gradual uprooting of this social evil act , will definitely one day enligten and empower girls life from womb of mother to earths womb, the whole family as well as the growth of a nation.
