Here is the 5th Mains Marathon Botany Optional Test.


We have decided to move section wise with the basic understanding of each topic of every paper.

In the mid-September we will do the complete paper every week so that you can get the feel to complete the paper before real exam (October 2017).

(c) Define Mycorrhiza.

(b) What are the functions of cambium.

Q.4. (a) What do you mean by anomalous secondary growth? Write on anomalous secondary growth of monocot stem.

(b) Give an account of the organization and development of shoot apex in different plant groups and the theories associated with them.

(c) Describe the Archaeological findings in ethnobotany.  .

(d) Describe methods employed for protoplast isolation and fusion. What are the significances of the protoplast utilization?
