UPSC CSE IAS Notification 2024 is available now. Today the notification has been released and with this notification, the process for application submission for 2024 exam will start. Candidates should apply as soon as possible, to increase the possibility of getting the desired location of test center. Highlight of UPSC IAS 2024 Notification

Vacancies and Type: There are approximately 1056 vacancies, including specific provisions for Persons with Benchmark Disability across various categories. It includes 40 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category.

Dates of Exam: The Preliminary exam is on 26th May 2024. Last date to fill the form is 5th March 2024 6 PM.

UPSC IAS Notification 2024

How to Apply: Candidates need to apply online through the UPSC official website by 5th March 2024.

1) Registration: Candidates must register online at the UPSC official website (upsconline.nic.in). This involves completing the One Time Registration (OTR) process if not already done.

2) Filling the Application: After registration, candidates can log in using the asked details and fill out the detailed application form. This includes personal, educational, and contact details.

3) Document Upload: Upload necessary documents, such as photo, signature, and photo ID proof as per the specifications mentioned.

4) Application Fee Payment: Pay the fee (INR 100 for General/OBC, exempted for others) through the available online modes or by depositing cash at SBI.

5) Final Submission: Review all entered details and documents uploaded. Submit the application only after ensuring accuracy to avoid rejection.

6) Confirmation: After submission, take note of the application confirmation. Keep a printout or save a digital copy for future reference.

Plan of Examination: The exam consists of a Preliminary round (objective type questions) and the Main Examination (written and interview). The Preliminary exam is mainly a qualifying exam for the Main Examination, which assesses candidates more comprehensively.

Other Important Details: The notification includes eligibility criteria, such as age limits and educational qualifications, application fees (INR 100 for general category, exemptions for others), and detailed instructions for the application process.
