  • ‘Watan Ko Jano’ Programme is an exposure and cultural integration programme for youth from Jammu & Kashmir.
  • Implementing Agencies: Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Government of Jammu and Kashmir
  • Aim: The program aims to introduce the youth and children of Jammu and Kashmir to the nation’s dynamic progress, rich social fabric, and cultural diversity, fostering a strong sense of social, cultural, and emotional connection.
  • Objective
    • Promote national integration
    • Provide youth with exposure to different parts of India
    • Familiarize them with cultural diversity, development initiatives, and institutions
  • Key Features
    • Youth are taken on educational tours across India
    • Visits include historical sites, educational institutions, and industrial units
    • Interaction with officials, security forces, and students
