About: Worker Population Ratio (WPR) is the percentage of persons employed among the persons in the population.
The employment-to-population ratio is equal to the number of persons employed divided by the working-age population and multiplied by 100. It is used as a metric of labor and unemployment. The Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) gives estimates of Key employment and unemployment Indicators like the Worker Population Ratio (WPR).
