- It brings together key stakeholders, including governments, industry, academia, civil society, and international organisations, to collaborate on critical digital issues.
- WSIS Prize: It celebrates innovative ICT-driven projects that contribute to sustainable development worldwide.
- About WSIS Forum 2026:
- The WSIS Forum 2026 is scheduled to take place from 6–10 July 2026 in Geneva.
- Organized by: The event is co-organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in collaboration with UNESCO, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
- Participation: It will have participation of more than 50 United Nations entities.
