    • India won four gold medals and secured the joint top rank along with China, Vietnam and the Individual Participant (Russia).
    • Four Indian students who won gold medals are:
      1. Debadatta Priyadarshi from Bhubaneswar, Odisha
      2. Harshit Singhal from Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab
      3. Kabeer Chhillar from Delhi
      4. Sandeep Kuchi from Hyderabad, Telangana
    • This was India’s 27th participation in the International Chemistry Olympiad.
