News: HQ Integrated Defence Staff (IDS) is organising ‘Combined Operational Review and Evaluation (CORE)’ programme from 14 to 18 September 2026 at Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi.
About Combined Operational Review and Evaluation (CORE) Programme
- Combined Operational Review and Evaluation (CORE) Programme is a unique platform for civil-military engagement on national security.
- Organised by: It has been organised by HQ Integrated Defence Staff (IDS).
- Aims: It aims to provide senior leaders with exposure to contemporary national and regional security issues through interactions with distinguished subject matter experts and renowned speakers from diverse fields.
- It also aims to prepare senior leadership to effectively address the dynamic and evolving challenges of national security.
- Participants: It is a five-day programme for senior officers of the Defence Forces.
- Officers from the Ministries of Defence, External Affairs and Home Affairs are also participating.
- It will facilitate a deeper understanding of emerging challenges and enable participants to take balanced and well-informed decisions in their future leadership roles.
- Themes covered: The programme will address emerging regional and global security challenges, technological transformation in warfare, and strategic communication.
- It will also focus on enhancing civil-military understanding to effectively address complex national security issues.
