IMF lowers India’s growth forecast to 4.8%
IMF has lowered India’s economic growth estimate for current fiscal to 4.8%. In October 2019, IMF had pegged India’s economic growth at 6.1% for 2019. Main reason for the lowering of India’s growth forecast were – decline in rural demand growth, overall credit sluggishness.
