Nepal pitches for informal SAARC Sumit
Foreign Minister of Nepal has said that Nepal will be happy to host an informal summit of the leaders of SAARC on the sidelines of the coming Sagarmatha Sambaad. He said this will give a chance to revive the forum. He also said that Nepal wants to broaden connectivity with China.
The SAARC summit could not be held in 2016.

Direct tax collections set to drop for first time in two decades
India’s corporate and income tax collection for the current year is likely to fall for the first time in atleast two decades. The central government was targetting direct tax collection of Rs. 13.5lakh crore for fiscal year 2019-20. However they have managed to collect only Rs. 7.3lakh crore as on Jan23.
