News: The Indian Navy carried out a five-day coastal security exercise, “Matla Abhiyaan” along the riverine border with Bangladesh
Facts:
- The exercise is named after Matla River.
- It aims to interact with coastal communities to spread awareness on coastal security. It also seeks to understand the navigational complexities in the Sunderban deltaic waters.
