Team ForumIAS is pleased to announce “Additional Current Affairs initiatives” for UPSC 2025. As we all know, tackling the Current Affairs portion for UPSC is a gigantic challenge for the aspirant community. As aspirants we always grapple with the FOMO (Fear of missing out) factor, especially regarding the Current Affairs section. However, we must also keep in mind that it is not the multiplicity of random current affairs rather than the depth of understanding of most important and relevant current affairs that makes or breaks our selection chances.
ForumIAS, as an organization, has a successful proven record of having a HAWK-EYED view on the emerging trends of the Civil Service Examination. This vision has prompted us to come up with our new products “MGP Essentials EPIC” (dedicated exclusively for Mains Examination) and “SFG-Essential Quarterly” (Dedicated Exclusively for Prelims covering prelims related Current Affairs of 3 months).
Why have we segregated the Mains and Prelims Magazines?
a. To reduce the bulkiness of the monthly magazines which tends to overwhelm candidates.
b. Our goal is to make you a District collector, instead of Content Collector. That is why we are doing all the hard work to pick the most important and relevant topics for both Mains and Prelims.
c. Our goal is to simplify and make your current affairs preparation more effective.
What is distinct, unique and better about our MGP Essential Monthly Magazine?
a. Coverage of only the most important topics related to the Mains Examination. All the important issues of the preceeding month are covered in that.
b. Each article will add to the arsenal of key words, and relevant examples which will improve your answer quality both in MGP and the actual mains examination.
c. Unnecessary topics which are not relevant for the examination are not covered. We do not believe in the philosophy of filling the number of pages for the sake of it. Crisp and concise has been our motto since the inception of our organisation.
What is distinct, unique and better about our SFG Essential Current Affairs Quarterly magazine?
a. Coverage of only the most important issues relevant from the prelims exam perspective in a comprehensive way.
b. ‘To the point’ feature added in each section, which covers the terms in news type of questions, which are the trickiest ones in the paper.
