Rank 43, Akshay Agrawal has cleared the Civil Services Examination 2018 in his very first attempt. He belongs to Maharastra and holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Pune and a Masters Degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore.

He started his UPSC journey in 2017 while clearing the exam in the next year. His approach to Prelims was to stay focussed on one resource and following it religiously rather than going through too many sources for preparation.

Watch his video in which he talks about his preparation strategy, how was he able to clear the toughest exam of the country in one go and the sources he referred to during his preparation.
