Dear Aspirants,
Since our inception, we have focused on our passionate pursuit of simplifying the preparations of the Civil Services Examination. Through our various initiatives, we have successfully crafted success stories of our students. One of the challenges aspirants face is to comprehensively connect the analytical and factual aspects of current affairs. In order to address this concern, we are proud to introduce our monthly current affairs magazine – EPIC.
The magazine aims to integrate the analytical issues related to mains along with the factual information required for prelims to comprehensively cover current affairs of every month.
The magazine consists of two sections
- Mains Articles – This section will cover a comprehensive analysis of important issues of the month.
- The articles will be sourced from editorials appearing in three different newspapers i.e. The Hindu, Indian Express, and the Live Mint.
- The articles will include important and relevant issues from Yojana, Kurukshetra, EPW, and Down to Earth.
- Every issue will have relevant examples, data, graphs, and case studies which will add value to your mains examination.
- Factly Articles – This section will cover factual information purely from a preliminary examination point of view.
Therefore, this magazine provides a ‘one-stop center’ to cover current affairs for the preparation of the Civil Services examination. It will not just save precious time of aspirants but also provide value addition to their preparation.

Is it a compilation of 9pm brief and factly? Many important articles of 9pm brief are missing in EPIC magazine.

Will this magazine come with 1 month lag ?
We realize the delay in our first edition. However, from the next edition, we will be releasing the EPIC magazine between the 15th and 20th of every month.

Respected ForumIAS Sir, is 7PM editorials compilation also included in this ‘EPIC’ initiative?
The idea of keeping Mains and Prelims topic separately is good.

You can access the MCQs from our weekly and monthly compilations of Prelims marathon and 10PM Current Affairs Quiz for comprehensive coverage. We are presently not planning to add MCQs to the magazine.
Till when will the EPIC june edition be uploaded??
Must say EPIC may edition has been phenomenal ! It has surpassed all other monthly magazines, I have read till date. Kudos to the team! This will be a one step destination and game changer for meticulous preparation !

Respected Forum IAS Sir,can you please arrange the Mains topics in “EPIC” monthly according to order of topics given in GS2 and GS3 UPSC Mains syllabus.This can help in a bit better organisation.Other wise the content given in “EPIC ” is really good.This is a humble suggestion from my side.
Great Initiative. Request you to keep this magazine publish regularly, otherwise it will be no use. We are eagerly waiting for June and July issues.

I dedicated towards current affairs initattives of forum IAS , BUT I have a doubt , epic magazine is not covering articles related to GS 1 Portion of mains and similarly art and culture is missing in factly .
They are also being missed in daily initatives
