About BhoteKoshi, Lendhe River and Trishuli River 

• About Bhote Koshi: It is a transboundary river  which runs through Tibet, China and northern Nepal. 
  • Origin: It originates on the southern slopes of the Himalayas in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
  • Course of river: It merges with the Trishuli to form the Narayani River in Nepal, which enters India at Valmikinagar, West Champaran, Bihar and becomes the Gandak River.
  • The river is called Poiqu (Boqu) in Tibet and Bhote Koshi in Nepal up to its confluence with the Sun Koshi at Barhabise, after which it is known as the Sun Koshi.
• About Lendhe River: It is a trans-boundary river that runs through both Nepal and China. 
  • Origin: It originates in Gyirong County in Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
  • Course of river: It flows south into Nepal, and joins the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli river systems.
• About Trishuli River: It is situated in the Gandaki River Basin, which is part of the Ganga River Basin.
  • Orgin: It has its source at Kirong Tsangpo in the Tibet. 
  • Course of river: It flows into the Narayani River and passes through Chitwan National Park, Nepal.
  • Tributaries: It has several notable tributaries, including the Budi Gandaki, Marsyangdi, Seti, and Kali Gandaki, which converge to form the Narayani River at Devghat.
• The Bhote Koshi, Lendhe River, and Trishuli River form part of the Gandaki (Narayani) river system.
