CEPI is a global partnership between public, private, philanthropic and civil society organisations launched at World Economic Forum (WEF), Davos in 2017.
Its aim is to accelerate the development of vaccines against emerging infectious diseases and enable equitable access to these vaccines for people during outbreaks.
It is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.
It is being funded by the Wellcome Trust, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, World Economic Forum (WEF), Governments of Norway, Japan, India (Department of Biotechnology) and Germany.
