News: e-FAST India launched the Platform for Aggregating Clean Transport (PACT) to accelerate zero-emission freight in India at the 5th e-FAST India Summit 2026 in New Delhi.

- e-FAST India stands for Electric Freight Accelerator for Sustainable Transport – India.
- Initiative by: It is an initiative of NITI Aayog.
- It is an initiative focused on advancing the electrification of medium- and heavy-duty freight through collaboration among stakeholders.
- It includes OEMs, logistics service providers, financiers, shippers and charge point operators.
- It is the country’s first platform to facilitate collaboration between government stakeholders and private sector partners .

- Technology and Innovation: It track the latest developments in freight electric technologies and private sector innovation.
- Market Acceleration: Develop strategies to address barriers to adoption, incentivize manufacturing and avenues for experimentation and deployment.
