About Exercise Vajra Prahar

- Exercise Vajra Prahar is a joint bilateral Special Forces exercise between the Indian Army and the United States Army.
- It is conducted annually on an alternate basis in India and U.S.A.
- Background: It was started in 2010 as part of expanding defence collaboration between India and the U.S.A.
- Current Edition (2026): The 16th edition of Exercise Vajra Prahar is scheduled at the Special Forces Training School, Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh.
- Duration: 23 Feb 2026 to 15 March 2026
- It is designed to deepen defence cooperation, enhance interoperability, and strengthen joint operational readiness.
- It will also provide a platform for the exchange of advanced special operations tactics, techniques, and procedures.
