What is itIt is a Multimodal AI and a Large Language Model (LLM) developed by Google.
Features1) Multimodal: It can understand different types of information including text, audio, images and video.
2) Powerful: It surpasses most human experts in various tasks, potentially making it the most powerful AI model to date.
3) Types: It will be available in three models: Ultra (for highly complex tasks), Pro (for scaling across a wide range of tasks) and Nano (on-device tasks).
4)The
Nano and Pro models will be immediately incorporated into Google’s AI-powered chatbot Bard. The Ultra model will be launched next year.
Significance1) It could revolutionize how we search for information online.
2) It could be used to create new forms of art and entertainment, pushing the boundaries of human creativity.
Concerns1) Job displacement in certain sectors.
2) Amplification of misinformation or unintended consequences.

1) A large language model is an advanced artificial intelligence system that processes, understands and generates human-like text based on massive amounts of data. 

2) These models are typically built using deep learning techniques such as neural networks, and are trained on extensive datasets that include text from a broad range such as books and websites, for natural language processing.

3) One of the most well-known examples of LLMs is OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
