- Threat to Aravali:
- Regulation issues: Haryana Government has been ambiguous about declaring entire area as Aravalli Notified Forest. This has led to uninhibited exploitation in the region.
- Illegal Mining: Mining of stones continues despite the ban by Supreme Court in 2002.
- Lack of Research: No comprehensive study has been conducted to check causes of degradation.
- Studies conducted by Wildlife Institute of India (WWI) has reported, that sand dunes inching closer to Delhi-NCR region.
