Union Home Minister has said that Centre would not dilute Art 371.

Article 371A to 371J have certain provisions for Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Karnataka.

Economy needs more monetary stimulus, says Das

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das has observed in the minutes of meeting of MPC that economy needed a further monetary stimulus, thus indicating that central bank was open to cutting interest rates.

Earlier, The six member MPC unanimously voted for status quo at the Feruary policy review on the back of the uptick in inflation. The MPC decided to continue with the accomodative stance.
