Hello friends my Date of birth is 20-07-1986. And I am a student of general category. Can I eligible for appearing civil service exam in 2018. Plz clarify my doubt

Yup u can’t apply in civils…as u would be above 32 by 1 august 2018

Abhi my age as on 20 -07-2018 will be 32 .and upsc take August 1 as benchmark for determine the age . Iam born in July 20 which is 10 days below the August then how iam not eligible for the exam. My 32nd year will complete on 20-7-2019′ clarify if you know correct information

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age
of 32 years on the 1st of August, 2018.So you are not eliglible for writing the exam
