News: Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) carried out Operation Chakravyuh in Kerala and seized substantial quantities of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
About Operation Chakravyuh

- Conducted by: Operation Chakravyuh refers to an anti-narcotics operations carried out by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI).
- Seizures Made: 24 kilograms of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances have been seized in these operations from Kochi, Malappuram and Thiruvananthapuram.
- The seized substances included methaqualone, methamphetamine and hashish oil, intended for illicit distribution and trafficking.
- Five individuals, including key operatives involved in the trafficking networks, have been apprehended under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.
