News: National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, has integrated the Pharma Jan Samadhan Portal with Pharma Sahi Daam Portal to strengthen citizen-centric digital governance.

About Pharma Sahi Daam Portal
- It is a specialized online search tool and mobile application designed to provide consumers with instantaneous access to the prices of both scheduled and non-scheduled medicines.
- Developed by: It has been developed by the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
- Features:
- It helps users to verify that medicines are being sold within government-approved price limits.
- It also serves as a vital tool for consumer protection by identifying instances of overpricing by pharmaceutical companies or chemists
- If a discrepancy is found, users can seamlessly lodge a formal complaint through the app or via the “Pharma Jan Samadhan” web portal.
About Pharma Jan Samadhan Portal
- It is an online facility to raise a complaint for Overpricing, Sale without Price Approval, Refusal of sale and Non-Availability of Drugs.
- Who can lodge a complaint: Any individual or consumer organisation, stockist/distributor/dealer/retailer or State Drug Controller can lodge complaints at the portal.
