- India should host multisport events in the coming years to showcase its capability to host a grand and large scale event like the Olympics
- India should formulate long-term investment plan to ensure private funding so that hosting Olympics does not prove to be a burden on government’s treasury
- The government should tackle issues of the environment, waste management, public health, and sanitation, to ensure clean and safe facilities for the Olympic athletes
- It is important to have coordination among different stakeholders and democratic stability
- It is important identifying locations for hosting Olympic Games early to help create facilities that have a longer life span and would also help reduce costs.
