About UPSC Prelims 2020
UPSC Prelims 2020 was conducted on October 4, 2020, by UPSC. Around half a million candidates appeared in the exam. Only 10 times of the total vacancies will be qualified for Mains (i.e. 10,000 will appear in mains if vacancies are 1000). Candidates successful in the prelims stage will appear in the mains examination. Prelims exam is of qualifying nature, marks of which are not calculated in the final score of candidates, used in the selection.
