Questions
1.) Discuss how the landmark judgments, over the period of time, contributed to the evolution of jurisprudence of reservation in India?
2.) Do you agree that India needs a right to compensation for wrongful arrests & detention? Give reasons for your arguments.

Good answer.
In the introduction, You can cite some data e.g., the conviction rate under some laws like UAPA is less than 5%, which indicates wrongful detention. High number of under-trials in prisons (~65-70%) also indicates that unnecessary arrests is one of the reason for this.
Under the reasons in favor, You can add: (a) Obligations under International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) to which India is a signatory; (b) The Supreme Court has said that granting of compensation is a necessary remedy for violations of fundamental rights; (c) Law Commission has recommended the same.
In suggestions, use keywords like ‘reforms in criminal justice system’ based on the recommendations of Malimath Committee on reforms in Criminal Justice System.
