Birth and domicile state: Ruhani hailing from Gurugram, Haryana was born and brought up in Telangana.
Family Background: Ruhani’s parents father Suresh Seth and mother Neelam Rani are lecturer by profession.
Educational Background: Ruhani obtained her primary education from Haryana itself. She did her BA hons from a prestigious St. Stephens College in Delhi in Economics subject in the year 2017. She did her post graduation in Economics in the year 2019 from IGNOU.
Previous work Experiences: She had been an Indian Economic Services Officer from the year 2020 to 2023. She was posted at NITI Ayog for 2 years. Later, She qualified the prestigious Civil Services Exam and got selected as IPS officer.
Hobbies and Interests: Her hobbies include studying and practicing spirituality and writing blogs on her experiences. Apart from this, she has interests in following news and updates on macroeconomy.

Ruhani’s UPSC Preparation Journey
Ruhani’s academic journey has always been illuminated by her brilliance. Despite joining the Indian Economic Service and dedicating three years to it, her heart remained steadfastly set on a different path: that of a civil servant. Even as she pursued her career, Ruhani never abandoned her dream of serving her country through the prestigious Civil Services.
Despite facing the sting of disappointment four times, Ruhani persisted in her pursuit. Last year, her resilience bore fruit as she secured a position in the Indian Police Services. However, Ruhani’s spirit remained undeterred; her ultimate goal of becoming an IAS officer continued to burn brightly within her.
