News- The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT) recently launched the ‘Samarth’ incubation program. Samarth Incubation Program.

About Samarth Incubation Program
- Objective: The programme is designed to support startups working in areas such as telecom software, cybersecurity, 5G and 6G technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) applications, and quantum technologies.
- The initiative aims to foster sustainable and scalable business models, provide access to cutting-edge resources, and help startups transition from ideation to commercialisation.
- Launched by– Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT), an autonomous Telecom R&D centre under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India.
- Implementation- For implementation, C-DoT has selected the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) as its partner.
- Support offered:
- The program, which will be delivered in a hybrid mode, has a maximum cohort size of 18 startups per program, with a total of 36 startups across two cohorts of six months each
- Each selected startup will get up to ₹5 lakh as a grant, office space at the C-DoT campus for six months, access to lab facilities, and guidance from C-DoT experts and industry professionals.
- Startups that show good progress may also get a chance to collaborate further under the C-DoT Collaborative Research Program.
