As some of us prepare to write Mains in October this year, a lot us are moving into the preparation zone for 2018.
If the static part of the syllabus forms the backbone of your preparation, current affairs is the essential nervous system that helps coordinate your entire reading into meaningful preparation.
Starting September, we will be coming up with weekly compilations to help you have a rock solid preparation for Current Affairs for both Prelims & Mains.
This should aid your existing reading and help you quickly revise things from the newspaper.
Due weight -age has been given to facts that matter. A careful compilation f such facts will help you in content differentiation in the long run.
As we receive feedback from you, we will improve on the work we do.
How to use these compilations?
- These compilations are not to be stored saved and collected. They are supposed to be thoroughly read, underlining and making short notes / acronyms along the side pages.
- After reading these, it will be an even better idea to make half pager self notes addressing all dimensions of the issues.

@ForumIAS:disqus If you have taken this initiative, do continue this till 2018 Mains atleast. Don’t discontinue in between. I am shifting to this and will discontinue my previous source(s). So, plz take care of this point.
The major issue is continuity , quality & timely release of compilations…I am also thinking shifting to forum .Last year forum stopped 9pm brief in between thats why i have a fractured faith on forum.Forum should come and clarify it. @ForumIAS
Now a days forum is the best ,but God knows when they will stop it.
Insights and civilsdaily are known for their continuity. Lukmaan ED is is good and very regular.
@ForumIAS also needs to tell on how to use various resources and in what proportions

In a word of gratitude, we can say you ‘Thanks’ but frankly I do not have any word to express respect for your efforts here.
With humble request , we need your help ,we need compilation as it was done last week,we need continuity .
Ha ha ..that will not happen .Foumias will not provide in time.They have many initiatives (12) to continue for current affairs with MGP,CGP which is humanly impossible.But the fact that they start these lofty initiatives and will discontinue for sure…
Though i am loving this initiative for sure ,but a sense of mistrust is there.
So my turn is just leave this initiative as they will definitely stop it.
Better focus on Vision or Lukmaan or 9pm brief(which is around 30 pages per day).
Very tough to comprehend the initiatives of forumias.
A humble request to forumias to tell how to consolidate all these materials.
I am still waiting for second week’s compilation. Now, I seriously doubt on the continuity of this initiative. I think I need to revisit my current affairs strategy. ANyway, all the best 🙂

Dear ForumIAS Team my humbel request to you plz simplify your great initiatives (7 pm,9pm,editorial post these in one initiative,and shift 10 pm quize in the prilims marathon) . if you are unable to post weekly current(TARGET 2018) you can post it in half month or monthly otherwise stop it .bcz already more confusion and uncertainty in upsc cse .plzplzplzplz dont discontinue your initiatives atleast septembr 2018 bcz more more more dipendency on these. thanks ForumIAS Team

@ForumIAS plz guys be consistent especially for this initiative bcoz after going through this one, I realised the way u guys have covered the issues, its just awesome. i mean , every perspect of that issue has been covered which is really a confidence booster for integrated approach towards the exam .
