- The 7th Global Fintech Fest 2026 is the world’s largest fintech festival, uniting the brightest minds to shape an AI-powered future.
- It serves as a global platform for advancing policy dialogue, showcasing innovation, enabling cross-border partnerships and driving collaboration at the intersection of finance, technology and public policy.
- Place of event: It is being held in Mumbai from 8 to 11 September 2026.
- 1st Global Fintech Fest took place virtually in 2020.
- Organised by: It is organised by the Payments Council of India (PCI), the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), and the Fintech Convergence Council (FCC).
- It is supported by MeitY; Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance; NEST Division, MEA; NITI Aayog; RBI; SEBI; IFSCA; and PFRDA.
- Theme: “Potential to Impact: Agentic AI | Tokenisation | Quantum: Trusted, Connected, Global Systems for Inclusive Finance.”
- Foundational Technologies: It is built upon three foundational technologies that are shifting the landscape of global finance toward autonomous, programmable, and secure ecosystems.
- Agentic AI: It enables financial systems to sense, decide, and act in real time within strong governance frameworks.
- Tokenisation: It transforms assets into programmable digital units, enabling fractional ownership, instant settlement, and interoperable money.
- Quantum: Quantum technologies introduce a foundational shift in computation and security.
