Organic farming uses bio pesticides, bio fertilizers, organic manures etc. But excludes or strictly limits the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides like herbicides, insecticides and fungicides. That’s why organic farming is eco friendly.

Eco mark is given to the Indian products that are environment friendly. Any product which is made, used or disposed of in a way that significantly reduces the harm is would otherwise cause to the environment, are categorized as environment friendly product.

Red tides are a special type of blooms, which are found at the estuaries. These blooms are pigmented dimoflagellates. These single celled organisms are able to swim short distances. The growth of pigmented dianoflagellates imparts red colour to water. So these blooms are called red tides.
