The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the Indian Forest Service (IFoS) Mains Examination 2025 Result on 24 February 2026.
The IFoS Mains Examination 2025 was conducted from 16 November to 23 November 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download their results from the official list released by UPSC.

Total Candidates Qualified for Personality Test
In total, 372 candidates have been shortlisted for the Personality Test (Interview) stage of the Indian Forest Service Examination 2025.

Mandatory OAF Update Window
As per the Indian Forest Service Examination Rules 2025, UPSC has provided a 15-day mandatory update window for candidates qualified for the Personality Test.
OAF Update Period:
27 February 2026 to 13 March 2026 (till 6:00 PM)
During this period, candidates must:
- Update educational qualification status
- Upload proof of passing required degree
- Update correspondence/permanent address
- Submit employment details and service experience
- Provide achievement details (if applicable)
- Confirm number of attempts and earlier exam details
- Submit OBC/EWS annexure (if applicable)
**This step is mandatory. Non-compliance within the prescribed timeline may result in disqualification.
About the Indian Forest Service exam
Indian Forest Service (IFoS) is one of the three All India Services of the Union Government. Every year, the UPSC conducts the Indian Forest Service exam to recruit officers into the forest service. The chief mandate of this service is to implement the National Forest Policy and manage the country’s natural resources.
